American Football Rules Canadian football is played on a larger field with 12 players per team. The game has three downs to gain ten yards and a 110-yard long field with two end zones. The scoring includes a touchdown (worth six points), field goal (three points) , and a single point awarded for kicking the ball out of the end zone.
